The SSE Wildcats Centre concept was introduced in 2017 to provide a platform for new girls to get involved in a football in a fun and friendly environment. A Wildcats Centre is an opportunity for young girls to have fun, develop fundamental skills, and try a variety of sessions.  Sessions are delivered on a weekly basis, either after school or at weekends.

Centres are being delivered through grassroots football clubs, schools, community trusts and local organisations with FA qualified coaches.  Each Wildcats Centre is linked to a local girls’ football club where pathways are in place for girls who want to progress into a club environment.

When approved to become an SSE Wildcats centre you will receive funding, kit and equipment; everything you need to run your sessions. You will also be taken through induction training which will help you understand how to coach a complete newcomer.
