It was a return to Division A action at the Horsham Primary Schools Table Tennis League this week at Collyer's after last week's pairs event diversion. Tom Wythers was in fine form for Greenway as they set about overturning Billingshurst's slight points advantage in the bottom half. He won a full complement of four matches, Harry Llewellyn pushing him hardest 25-19 before the Billingshurst leading light claimed three of his own to be the mainstay of his team's resistance.

Pullen also did well for the Bills to get two wins on his debut for the season whilst all of Llewellyn's colleagues - Alex Popa, Ben Watson and Carter Ayley - also secured braces to take their team to the 10-6 victory that puts them into third and sends Billingshurst to the bottom. Hard luck to Billingshurst's Ben Simpson for fighting hard but winning zero and particularly losing out on a last point decider to Ayley.

In the top half Holbrook had their second chance at derailing Southwater's title retaining ambitions but despite giving it a good go didn't managed to do it. Owen Davies struck a few blows including bringing Southwater female destroyer, Chloe Robinson, to heel 25-21 but Evan Erskine restored order from a Southwater perspective taking the Big O down 25-17. Rowan Smith also caused the champions elect a few issues in winning two and pushing Robsinson and Erskine hard for their wins. However Southwater held the trump card in the depth of their squad with Noah Cailes-Gentry and Zaib Rehman-Furs being dominant against their number 3 and 4 ranked counterpart individuals Zac Brown and Jamie Morse but also very competitive against Holbrook's star players.

Southwater lie 59 points ahead of Holbrook with two matches remaining and their players could be forgiven for singing Starship's lyrics circa 1986...'Nothing's gonna stop us now'.
