In 1919 a strip of land fronting West Street in Storrington was bequeathed by a Mrs Knight for the purpose of creating a Social Club for service men returning from the Great War. Today, the Bowls Club boasts one of the highest memberships in West Sussex and it’s clear to see how they maintain this. A beautiful setting, warm welcome and lovely lawn tucked away in the village. The club have big plans afoot in honour of the club’s upcoming centenary, celebrating players past, present and future. So now is a great time to get involved. Learn more here
