Tickets for the new weekly online Horsham District Community Lottery are now on sale. At £1 a ticket you have the chance to scoop a £25,000 jackpot, AND 60% of ticket sales goes to support local community groups. It’s a win win!  The first weekly draw of winners will take place on Saturday 28 September.

How does it work? Everyone buying a ticket can choose which community group they want to support from those who have joined the scheme.

More than 65 charities community groups have so far applied to receive a share of the funds.  Groups already registered include Horsham Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society (HAODS), Henfield Youth Club, Olive Tree Cancer Support, Tigers Football Club, Pulborough Cricket Club, and the Horsham and Shipley Community Project – and many more.

60p from every £1 ticket goes to local community groups with the rest divided between the prize fund and running costs.

An additional special prize is also on offer in the first weekly draw for a £50 meal voucher at The Crown, Horsham.  
Staff are eligible to buy tickets.

Where can I buy my tickets?

The Horsham District Community Lottery is a weekly online lottery. The draw takes place every Saturday night at 8pm. There are no external outlets, all ticket sales are done online or over the phone.

The lottery is run on behalf of Horsham District Council by external provider Gatherwell who also run similar schemes for many other local councils.
